I have some difficulties to intrepret the values I get when I try to measure the insulating resistance in a capacitor of about 600 nF / 1000V. Any one can suggest me the better instrument for that?
Colegues: finally I found a device called Hydrocal 1002 from the swiss manufacturer MTE Meter Test Equipment AG for gas-in-oil-analysis with transformer monitoring functions. So it is not only Hydran!
Thanks to both colleagues. This device is intended to monitor gas produced in transformer oil. Hydran monitor I know very well! My doubt is if my customer is confused but according to its size and name (!) he will have a good engineering team.
I would appreciate if a colleague could tell me what is a Hydrocal gas monitor that is specified by an US facility. I only find in the Web this name as a molding material!!! Manufacturer reference will be great!
Thanks from somewhere in Europe!
Thanks. Unfortunatly this is the only reference I have. I search in the Google and I got something not matching! This is specified for a Southafrican company.
Referring to Cuky2000's reply I would like to desagree with the efficiency formula in the picture. According to my opinion and to some (at least!) litarature, in the denominator there is a fault! If the efficiency is calculated as per ANSI practice - i.e. the rated power is the output -, all...
Hi
As a transformer manufacturer engineer I can call your attention to two points: first, that a pump to work in an ONAN mode must be radial type (centrifugal are often used with pure ODAF heat exchangers!) to have low pressure drop when stopped, and second, you must have a head-vs-flow working...
I thank to my collegues for these replays. I'm sorry if I was not clear, but I'm searching for noise level calculation or estimation and not noise reducing methods!
I woul like to run a macro in Excel automaticaly in the following way (as an example): If the value in cell A1 is "x" run macro1; if it is "y" run macro2. Any body know if this is possible?
I'm interested in calculation or estimation of audible noise in large power transformers (>100MVA). Is any practical method known for that? Any book or paper about noise calculation?
Thanks
