    Carport Wind Load

    What is the wind uplift load on a free standing or attached one side only ( to a house) lightweight alumunum carport sturcture. ASCE-7 shows uplift for enclosed and partially enclosed structures but implies there is only horizontal wind load on open (all sides) structure. Am I missing something?
