Please help. Unsolved AutoCad Xref Problem
My suggestion would be don't move xref's or rename them once a project is started. This only cause's more work and a loss of money in the end. This stress' the fact that Cadd Standards should be created/obtained including file directory structure and naming conventions up front before a project...- Makana

Active updating of references
ok, so if visretain off (0) then the colors, linetyles, settings(on/off/frozen) etc are managed and will be defaulted to what the reference file is set at correct. For efficient use of the system and not having to turn layers on,off, freeze,thaw everytime you get into a drawing you will need...- Makana
