Yes i have spreadsheet also. I've been rejected out of hand for just issuing such inquiries... fine , dont need that sort of client, trouble is, the bad practices are being copied everywhere in the effort to be "competitive".

there was a large case here in alberta recently written up in the PEGG
An engineer would stamp anything, I mean anything for $100.
when looking at builders and house plans we saw his stamp everywhere.
every time you asked who would stamp or calc his name came up. the builders though it ws fine...

wrong.. it doesnt happen except in states with the most lax rules , and those licenses are essentially worthless
you are completely wrong. i work in canada and i see
work from engineers and designers offshore and it is hopelessly useless. Local idiosyncracies Ways and means , corporately , natinoally, even locally by whats understood and available are
huge issues everywhere and represent enormous waste...
this is one of the few businesses i know where
goods and services are turned over remotely (in "good faith" )with no credit management process in place.
I see that having to end because of the market place.
