    Vane Pump Cover Finish

    In rebuilding hydraulic vane pumps for use in rebuilt transmission, does anyone know what the surface finish should be on the pump cover where the vane sides ride? How about flatness? Any info on vane pump tolerances would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Involute spline definition

    I am reviewing a part with a metric involute spline. One tolerance specified is a "radial circle jumpiness tolerance". Is this another way of saying radial concentricity? If not, what does it mean? Thanks
