    RPZ Backflow Preventer

    If I have an RPZ backflow preventer with an air gap fitting, does that serve as the air gap and I can pipe the fitting to a trap and sewer or do I still need to have another air gap at the bottom to a drain? If it doesn't serve as the air gap, what is the point of the air gap fitting?
