Hi. I am working on a project that requires a BLDC gear motor to drive a pulley. I am looking for a sample of Design FMEA for the BLDC gear motor. I need help. Thanks.
Hi there,
I am given a 12V BLDC motor, a desired speed 400rpm (with 12:1 gear reduction), and a no torque 1.5 in-lb. I am asked to find other values: no load current, no load speed, rated current, rated speed, rated torque, rated power, stall torque, stall current, etc...
I need help with the...
Thanks Ron,
This is a concave expansion plug. I understand that we can use a pressure press or even a hammer with a right tool to install it inside a counter bore. A question of pressure (load) requirement raised by a MFG guy for them to buy a right press machine (pessure/load range) for this...
Hi there,
I read thru a few manufacturers' procedures explaining how to install an expansion plug, but none of them specifies the required pressure (or force) to press it in. Does anyone have that information? Thanks.

Thanks Cockroach & Timelord.
I did believe they should work but apparently they did not. I did use 1" NPT male and it works fine with the 1" NPT female. The next thing I will do is the verify the NPTF male thread and how it machined as you have mentioned.
Hi evryone,
I have a 1-11.5 NPTF fitting part made from oversee and it won't mate with the 1" NPT part. I have done the search for info of the difference between the two & why that they do not mate, but I have yet found nothing.
If anyone has the info or tell me the reason why 1" NPT does not...
Thank you both.
Since there is a moving object inside the sleeve with small clearance, I like to see the affect of the sleeve's ID wall after the installation.
GenJT.
Here is the problem:
A sleeve OD is press fitted into a housing ID. There must be an expansion at the ID of the sleeve due to the compression.
I am wondering if anyone has a formula or information how to calculate (or estimate) this change (expansion).
Thanks
