    CAST IRON BODY STRENGTH

    I have been read a thread of butterfly valve body calculation. It seemed that people talked about steel body. For the ductile iron, AWWA C150 gives the wall thickness of DI pipe, however, how come the service allowance or safety factor? Thank you!

    For butterfly valve, AWWA covers up to 72". What else cover larger? Thanks! Good weekend, everybody! David
