    Best Way To Amplify Current

Need to correct that. The resistor reduces the + supply to the op-amp by about .7V and the output swing by the same amount. Anyway, it works if you can tolerate the reduced swing.

Slow oscillation with Electric Regulator DC drive

Greetings to all. I have just joined up. Anyone familiar with old Electric Regulator Statohm drives? Model is 9350-155-103 and motor is 50 HP 500V. Motor is driving a plastic extruder. There is a very slow oscillation, about 2 Hz, at certain speeds and load currents. The oscillation is in the...

    Best Way To Amplify Current

Greetings all, I just joined up. I realize this is an old topic, but thought it might still be useful. One simple way to boost output current is to place a resistor in series with the op-amp's +V supply pin. A PNP transistor is added with the emitter on the +V rail, the base on the op-amp's +V...

    Fuse and Breaker ratings

Greetings all, I just joined up. I have noticed that for many small electronic fuses, time-to-open data is given for the fuse at it's rated current. For larger line fuses like NON and NOS, the data at the rated current is off the graph, at many thousands of seconds or more, I am guessing. The...
