Hello Masomenos.
Is posible that the diference could be in the damping modes. The results in displacements is in the order of four. the periods are the same.
Maybe tha FNA do not work well with dampers? but why?
I am modelating a structure of concrete without plastic hinges and with viscous dampers and I obtein very differents results between FNA and Nonlinear direct integration.
WHY?
Please, I want to know, why SAP2000 design concrete columns with too high area of rebar?
I am designing columns of reinforced concrete and I made a simple model with SAP2000, and the area rebar is too high
for this characteristic, SAP design with more than P=0.03
f´c=210 kg/cm2
fy=4200 kg/cm2...
I wanna know which forces act on the foundation beam. And how to modelate it in the SAP 2000 program?.
I have one structure in a soft soil, and requires foundation beams, and I am not sure with wich forces modelate it, and how?

DENSAL55.
Could you give me the equation to transform stress(kg/cm2) into Moment(kg-m) in flexural design.
I want understand the transformation, and do it manually to comprobate.
How could I do that convertion?
Thans DENSAL55, but my questin is: How I could do it manually, if I have not the option of M11 or M22?
The stress (kg/cm2) I want to convert to moment (kg/m), manually. (in flexural design).
I want to modelate solid slab of concrete, and the program give me streess (kg/cm2), and I want to design it with moments (kg-cm). how to realize that convertion?
Thanks DENSAL55 for your good response.
Is there any relation between coefficient of reaction (kg/cm3) of the soil and resistance soil support (kg/cm2)?
I wan to modelate a building with the soil. Because the structure could have settlement. Is a soft soil.
Wich parameters must i put in SAP2000 to modelate la soil?
Thanks.
