My main problem is to on how to create the helix (keypoints and lines)in order to model the spring. If I use splines I´m unable to close the spring and the helix is not perfect it diferes from coil to coil. Thanks

Hello, I´m trying to model coil springs, and I wonder and I´m open to any sugestion on what type of elements that I should use? I was thinking BEAM4 or PIPE16. Thaks for your help.
