Thank you for the fast response, yes, i do have B.S in AE, and i have been working in a team where we do lot of AFC (airframe change repairs). I kind of knew that i have to be in the strentgh team to learn the analysis, but thank for the heads up in taking M.S, i am going back to school.
cheers.
Hello folks,
I am looking into getting into the stress analysis side of Aerosapce structures. I am currently involved in repairs, but i really see a great future in stress analysis. Can anyone point me how to get smart on stress analysis. Your help as always is much needed and appreciated
i would recommend anderson, low speed aerodyanmics. or go to MIT opencourseware, they have tutorials on this. i think you need to understand the concept of a drag for a vehicle in flight, also what kind of speed u r dealing with? that can change too with the drag
As a note, BAE do most of their with the DOD, u will have to have a U.S CITIZENSHIP To work here. i am 100% sure. if i were you i will try any company that deals with commercial aircrafts, airlines/aerostructures groups etc, airbus has a facility in the midwest somewhere. But yeah having a green...
Hi , can anyone please tell me how to run a cosmoxpress on an assembly, i know how to do it for a single part but not an assembky, your help is appreciated.
I think it would be a good start with asking new engineers to start with FBD of a structure, define safety factor, predict a failure in truss/plate when 2 forces are pulling on opposites sides. Another one would be to ask stress difference between metals and composites.
Thank you guys for the replies. I graduated with a B.S A.E specialty in aicraft structures (FEA, Composites, etc...). I always tought that most aero jobs are in the field of structures (i even taught my self Nastran/Ansys a little). My biggest problem is with the companies' websites like LM...
Hi , i have a degree in Aerospace Engineering, and i can't find a job, everyone wants years of experience and security clearances, any suggestions would be helpful
