    This might help: http://www.techdrawingtools.com/12/l1201.htm though it is based on a software package, it does give some basics. Best is to get some examples and some blank isometric paper. I am sure there are plenty of books available on the subject.

    Have to agree with other comments even if a bit cynical. I have always found it much more expedient to do simple isometrics by hand sketch. If you look around - you should be able to get some isometric ruled A3 (sorry - metric) paper. This will make the task much easier. I fear that for the...
