Unfortunately I have not got this information. I was after a general figure, say for, 60-200 mm discontinuity spacing with allowable bearing value of less than 750 kPa weathered Sandstone. Have you got an info on typical E values for weathered rock worst and best case? roughly how much MPa?
Does anyone know a typical values of E for a weathered, for a quick calc, finding it very difficult to locate this information.
It would be greatly appreciated
Many Thanks
Hi,
I require to convert DP super heavy values to SPT for interpretation. I have read in literature that simply a factor of 1.5 can be employed to obtain a SPT value. Is there a more accurate way? is this correct?
ok, i had a look, couldnt find any specific information relating to the conversion of SPT's values to CBR percentages. Unfortunately, presently, i don't have access to the recommended literature, ill bookmark these. Thankyou anyway.
I do not know how to transform DPL N10 impact values into CBR values. I have the DPL's converted into SPT values ok, but do not know how to convert SPT into CBR VALUES! maybe the youngs modulus route from ciria 143? the soil is a granular silty SAND.
