    I have turned off preselection highlighting in config.pro, that seems to help all rotation & zooming, shaded or otherwise. Since I miss it sometimes, I have just saved a different config file with it enabled so I can load & apply that quickly if I want preselection. I don't miss it often though...

    mmuell01, if you want to add centerlines to entities that don't have them, you can add an axis in sketch mode, then show the axis in the drawing mode. Also, centerpoints can be selected, are you dimensioning when trying to pick them or ??
