Velocity Check Valves
Thanks a lot to all of you! I researched this and I agree with butelja that it acts similar to an excess flow valve but the terminology is confusing coupled with the fact that it is not meant to prevent backflow....TD2K, I will try and obtain the info you mentioned i'm sure that will help...and...- leb717

Velocity Check Valves
I came across the use of "velocity" check valves on a downhole hot water circulation line for a gas wellhead. I was told that they are installed to safeguard against any gas leaks into the circ system??. I'm still not sure how that works? can someone familiar with this application...- leb717
