Lets say I was designing a 20" wheel for a car (like a Honda Civic, Acura, etc.). How would I decide the width of the wheel assuming low-profile tires? I am just wondering for a group project if there is a standard that must be followed.
Tow do you determine the width of a wheel after the diameter is determined on a car? Is there certain guidelines that must be followed to make sure the tire will stay on? Where are they?
