Dear all, in our project we are going to install column trays and internals of some equipments like ben-free splitter and etc. what criteria should be considered during bolting the trays and internals to the equipment regarding torque values...
Hii everyone...nowadays in our project we are having a big discussion about fabrication and erection tolerancess of fired heater panels...since the fabrications are really in poor quality, full of distorsions and etc.
we know that API 560 is the standard for fired heaters but it does not...
Hii everyone...my question is related with S numbers...
is there any difference between S number and P number...?can we use WPS with a PQR supporting P1 to P1 to weld S1 base materials...? Thanks
additionally , B31.3 is our governing code and acc. to this code all the applicable branch connections (made from pipe unreinforced ones) are full penetration ...
why I am asking is just because a welder qualified with 6" sch40 groove in position 6G can weld all thicknesses of fillet but if branch connections are regarded as groove then above welder cannot weld beyond his thickness limit...
hii everyone...according to ASME , can branch connections (stub-in or stub on) be considered as fillet welds or still thickness limits for welders should be applied on it.thanks...
