evan,
Yes my issue is that one or both of these software packages automatically fails any FCF that references a datum feature that fails one of its requirements MMC requirements. Is this what you would expect to happen?
Here is the MMC problem!
The 2 tolerances are also shown as failing....but on closer inspection one tolerance does fail but the other tolerance fails BUT the deviations shown in qualify PASS the guage shown.
If these tolernaces are viewd in 'Insight then the same deviation are display and the...
The question I have about MMC and Datums is as follows
Setup Example
An MMC tolerance is placed on datum B.
An MMC tolerance is applied to a pattern of holes and then MMC applied to Datum B.
Is this statement correct?
When a datum is referenced at MMC and it fails its size...
The drawing attached dosnt have any GD&T.
It seems to have lots of linear dimentions in both metric and imperial.
what have you dificulty in interpreting?

The application of a projected tolerance zone depend on the features that are required to be inspected. how are you triyng/thinking of applying the tolernace.
It should not be globally applied to all tolerances as this can cause tolerances to fail that in reality will pass and assemble correctly.
From your diagram it shows that the bush that is out is the longest of the two bushes.
If this is the case and you are using the smallest bust to datum from (E) then this may indicate that the perp flange may be incorrect as the larger bore would emphasise this.
Is the flange check against any...
