    "Over Flat"

    hello, i have a question - i'm reading the technical data of a SpeedLine lathe and it reads in one place: "Achieved tool life quantity at over flat 20 = 1400 worpieces". i'm not a native user of English so I'm a bit confused. anybody has an idea what it could possibly mean?
