    Lock parts/products/drawings from editting.

    Is there a way to lock a part or make it "read-only" to force a "save as" from within Catia? I've noticed in the Save Management window it shows attributes for parts (ie. read,write) but I haven't been able to figure out how to change them. Any ideas would be excellent! --Jared

    Right. I've tried that. I'm going to try to rename it to a .exp and try to import that to v4 and then to v5. we'll see where that gets me.

    I keep receiving files with the extension .flatfile. The sender says they are CATIA v4 files but i have no way of viewing them. Any suggestions? Can they be translated? Thanks in advance. Jared

    Center of Gravity NX3?

    I search and only found a solution for NX2. But nothing for 3. Is there a way to display the center of gravity in NX3?
