the pumps are 60 HP each and currently they are constant speed/flow. savings from adding VFD on the speed/flow would bring in good savings.
i was asking about the booster pump system vs the prssurized tank systems in domestic water.

I have a project where we are doing some energy savings measures.
the site has a pump set at 90psi that supplies pressurized tank at 60psi which then delivers to the building. the pumps are originally constant speed.
we are thinking of adding VFD on the pumps but the facility people were...
i am trying to calculate the savings from fixing economizer and new programmable thermostats. so need to know their electrical consumptions during part load.
and modeling unfortunately is not an option this time.
I have some 16 years old DX units 5-15 tons range. i need to get their part load electrical consumption. i have the EER (8.2) and IPLV (10.6). the selection and the e-catalogue software don't suport their models anymore.
What to do?
