    DC Motor Drifting/Speed Issue

Thanks, I will try changing out the main control board. Maybe the board was zapped during instalation of the discrete board, as itsmoked stated.

    DC Motor Drifting/Speed Issue

We are using a prox to count revolutions on the worm gear that is driven by the fleeter motor. We are then using a relay to switch polarity to reverse the motor.

    DC Motor Drifting/Speed Issue

I have a 1HP DC Motor driving a fleeter that reverses direction upon command. I am using a speed reference from another dc drive to control the speed of the fleeter (through discrete adapter board). Both of these are driven with an older model AB 1395 Drive. With a 0 speed reference coming...

    Ultra 3000 E20 error

We have been having alot a problems with our Ultra 3000 servo drives faulting out on E20 error. I was wanting to see if anyone else is having this problem. We are using a high res. encoder for feedback with the specified shielded cable. We have three different machines with this setup and have...

    Non-ferrous inclusion detection??

Thanks for your response. I am looking for subsurface defects. Eddy-current will not detect non-ferrous defects. I am not sure about ultrasonic, but I believe that would be difficult to apply in-line with the mill.

    Non-ferrous inclusion detection??

Does anyone know if there is a non-ferrous inclusion detection system out there for aluminum rod? It would need to be an in-line system. I have heard mention of infrared cameras that may work for this.

    PC Power supply

The speakers are rated at 130 watts max which means they are probably 40 watts rms. I connected to my car stereo and they sounded pretty good. I have heard of people using pc power supplies for this but they have to do some rigging with the 3.3 v and 5 v rails. If this wont work does anyone...

    PC Power supply

Does anyone have much experience with pc power supplies? Is there any reason that using a 12V power supply from a desktop will not work to power a car stereo that is pushing two 130 watt max speakers? Will the power supply produce enough continuous current?

    Sizing conductors

I need some help sizing conductors for three phase. I have a 3 phase 600A service @480V that I want to feed a machine 450' away. Not sure the exact load yet but it will be close to that. The calculator that I have tells me the feeder cable should be 400MCM with #2 ground. Is this right and...

    One-line training

I am trying to find some training courses for one-line diagrams. Does anyone know of a training company that offers a good two to three day course?
