Stumbled across this thread as I had the same question.
Research of Weyerhaeuser site yielded the answer:
Apparently "bracing" is temporary, required during construction (prior to sheathing).
I spec whatever my soft calc gives me (usually TrusJoist).
More often than not, GC gives plans to their lumber yard/supplier, who cross ref.s members to whatever they carry (GP, Boise, whomever)
Anyone here have any experience with RisaFloor in a residential design environment?
Reading the user guide, it seems inherently similar to Weyerhaeuser/TrusJoist's TJ-Expert and Woodworks, so I anticipate the learning curve to be relatively painless.
I am curious as to designers' experiences...
