    Margin of Safety and Vibration/Shock Specs for General Marine

    I have two questions: 1) For non-critical equipment, what MS would I use for a general marine application for stress. 2) I need to find vibration and shock specs for general marine applications. Mil specs seem too high. I am designing a device with mechanical and electrical components.
