Thanks to all, I knew how reverse power concept at turbine-generator i.e instead of generator drive the turbine but turbine drive the generator. What i really want to know is how this reverse power can happen at turbine-generator? as slavag said : 'Main Steam Valve closed'. What is other caused?

dear slavag, PD measurement does not injecting any current or voltage to the stator winding. it was just a measurement to check the existing of corona sign at the stator end winding(usually). so, with that we can check the insulation strength at the stator winding. Hope this will clarify...
