Good afternoon,
I'm after about of help with diffusion calculations. I want to calc,
8% of an element to diffuse to 2% overall. Is there anyway to calc this 6% diffusion rate for a set time? I know you can calc using diffusion distances but I don't have that so percentage drop is all I can...
thanks you for your reply,
would you be able to give me this figure in cm2/s
Ds= 1.0 (+0.87, -0.48) x10^-6 exp (-202.59 (+/- 4.71KJ)mol/RT)m2/s
Can this results be put in excel? having never put something this long I have no idea if you can.
kind regards
James
Evening all,
hopefully somebody can help me, this is totally new so struggling, from a paper I have found that NB diffusion coefficient is Ds= 1.0 (+0.87, -0.48) x10^-6 exp (-202.59 (+/- 4.71KJ)mol/RT)m2/s and I want the NB to diffuse 54μm within the nickel.
How do I work out the time...
