Thank you both for your answers. It's been a couple months since I have looked at the literature, but if I recall correctly, the ASTM used primarily the t50 and the t90 as an alternative. Your answer adds confindence for the next time we do this testing.

For consolidation testing, are the T50 and T90 constants both usable when calculating Cv or is one result more accepted than the other. I usually see the results expressed using T90 (i.e., Cv(90))
