I'm looking to identify some steel plate known as Red Diamond - it looks like it says either "146" or "14G" after it.
Is there modern day an equivalent? I believe it to be a wear resistant plate material from some time ago.

No - I didn't apply the patch as the version of the current file was more recent.
Yes you can insert it as a block into a new drawing - this is one way I've found to get around it.

OK - not sure if I follow all of the above, but I've exploded all entities by selecting everything, then did it again.
After this, I'm able to edit copy, edit paste...but I guess this wasy I've lost any block groupings, but at least I'm able to copy!!

On one certain drawing received from a customer, I am having problems using "Edit, Copy" and "Edit, Paste" to copy parts of this drawing to another. When I perform this action, nothing gets pasted to the new drawing, and indeed won't work within the drawing in question either.

I've set the variable to 0, so this should cure all future problems.

In Autocad 2007, I seem to have problems when plotting a drawing off our network - it usually crashes the program. with a fatal error message and fails to plot.
