By not Damping I mean that the tosrsion spring does cause the A arm suspension to oscillate when displaced, but the systems amplitude isnt being reduced. In other words the system acts as if it didnt have a torision damper acting on it, no matter how great the damping...

I am running a motion simulation on an A arm suspension, and I apply a torsion spring and Damper to a joint to create a spring damper system. However, when i run the simulation only the spring takes affect, and regarsdless how much I increase the damping...
