Thank U, brep. Thank U, Mr. Myers. But I couldn't solve the problem:
I'm using Abaqus version 6.5, and I can't find the option "analytical field": just "temperature field", "velocity field" and "initial state field" are available.
Should I use a subroutine? How? I have never done it.
Please help!
Dear Abaqus experts,
I'm a novice user of Abaqus CAE.
I want to load a piece with the kind of load shown in the attachment, but I don't know how to do it. Any suggestions?
Thank U!
Dear friends:
I'm modelling a masonry wall. For academic reasons, I must use the Mohr Coulomb failure criterion. But bricks and mortar plastic failure can only be well described by the classic Mohr-Coulomb failure criterion if a couple of modifications are introduced: a linear compression cap...
First of all, excuse my english- Im spanish.
Im a novice user of Abaqus CAE, and I need help.
Im making a virtual 3D model of a masonry wall (bricks and mortar). I want to calculate how far I can load the wall before it fails (a compressive load on top of the wall, for instance), but I dont know...
I just did what you sugested (building the whole wall as an unique part and then make several partitions for each region -bricks/mortar-) and it worked GREAT! Thanks a lot, Corus.
Now Im trying to define the plastic properties of the materials. No success, by now. I'll try harder for a couple of...
Hello, Im a spanish engineer, so please excuse my english.
I'm modelling a masonry wall with Abaqus CAE. I've got two main parts: one are the bricks, and the other is the mortar. I´m ready to mesh, but I want the bricks an the mortar to share the same nodes in the interfase surfaces. How can I...
