    Thats a good point,where I use to work we had a small condenser on the deaeator to condense a sample so we could check the amount of sodium sulfite in the deaerator. I will talk to the manager and the chemical company and see if this can be done.Thanks

    NON RETURN VALVE LEAKING

    If I am not mistaken,there should be a drain valve at the bottom of the non return valve,this is used to bleed any accumulating condensate.we used to open it at startup of the boiler till it reached full pressure then shut it. also at shutdown open it and leave it open.
