actually i have found out my problem what happened was i would slecet the two lines one being o line then clicked off in space to set it instead of just clicking all the lines then clicking off into space. more of a user problem then the system!! thanks for your help!!
ok i have messed around with the overload properties and your correct it does get rid of the stuff i don't want to see, but the problem i have no noticed is that whatever other lines that the item i am hiding is crossing also will disappear as well just in that section so i have just open lines...
scratch that thought I have found it. So basically I hide/show what I want to see then lock the view. this will stop the view from updating and remaining what I want to see! is this correct?
how do i go about locking a view? i have right clicked on the view and looked as well as on the page on the right side and didn't c anything there either!
