We have nice HP power houses, We are running, i9-13900k Processor. The Graphics card is where your big hit will be. We are running NVIDIA RTX A5000. Some users have 64 gig of ram, and others that do FEA and ram heavy processes, they have 128gigs. We got a really good deal on these...
Ok Thanks, We were running Teamcenter 13.1, and Siemens had an internal issue with the reuse library within this version of Teamcenter, it was horrible. Sounds like you are having a different issue than what we were experiencing. Sorry That is all I had,
Usually we put a Gage line onto the taper, and take your FOS dimension at that depth. Usually on edges like this, there are burrs and other issues that will have an impact on the dimension.
You are in the new sketcher, so you need to turn off relations, or persistent relations. There are no "constraints" in the new sketcher. Look for the Display persistent relations toggle.
Perfect thanks for the help, It looks like the resource bar can not be docked on the second monitor. If it floats, when applications open, they are hidden behind this resource bar. I must be missing something.
Are you using Teamcenter, there are some reporting tools with Teamcenter, That may help you out. NX does have some sort of visual reporting. We do not use, but could be a place to start investigating. I think tool is called HD3D. Hope this helps a small bit.
Has more companies been moving to MBD, vs 2D drawings? We are still using the hybrid system, where we have a 2D drawing with the most important dimensions, and all other surfaces default back to a surface profile to the 3D model. Just being curious of the MBD adoption over the last couple of...
using 3D PMI, do some google searches on it. This has been improved dramatically over the years. We have looked into it, the issue is sharing the model with other CAD systems, there seems to be some hang ups.
I would suggest using an assembly, and use arrangements. Makes things a little bit easier, than layers, and reference sets. But this is my experience, especially when you use the part in downstream applications.
Can this be posted to a specific Excel file, for example, I have a cut-and-paste Excel sheet open, that is called cutpaste.xls. Nice program thanks for sharing.
