a simple example...Let´s say...I have a duct...in one end a fan..in the other one a vacum machine.

We want to use ASTM A 131 Gr. E for these Built up I beams, because that is one of materials listed in the standar.

You gotta help me with this thing.
We are rebuilding the strcuture for an API 620 roof tank.
Since, the temperature is -50°C, the materials of the structural members shall be according to Table R-1 of the API 620.
Here in Mexico there are not beams or shapes in those...
I am looking for any opinion on how to dig an offshore buried pipe in order to conect another pipe to it.
Does anyone knows an standard, book, manual, paper, web page dealing with this topic?
