P & ID's in HVAC Industry
It seems it is still not clear to many that what exactly goes into a D&ID. In HVAC industry it is not called P&ID. It is Duct and Instrumentation Diagram(D&ID) and it not product specific. Iagree with pmover. D&ID (not P&ID) are a must for clear understanding of HVAC System operation, controls and shutdown philosophy.
