    CO2-spikes in instrument air system

We think that CO2 is adsorbed in the regenerated dryer and releases during the change over. What can we do to avoid this? The dryer is an old BURNETT & LEWIS, heat regenerated, with Activated alumina and Mobil Sorbead Grade R.

    CO2-spikes in instrument air system

Hi all, I have a problem with CO2-spikes in an instrument air system. The spikes occurs when the air dryer unit (dessicant) switches tower. The air is also used as breathing air, and the CO2 is monitored. The analyser (ir-type) is located upstream of the dryer. Any clues? Thanks!

minimum Cv for a masoneilan choke

Ok, so if the choke have a rangeability 100:1, and a max Cv of 260. This means that it's ok to choke down to Cv 2.6?

minimum Cv for a masoneilan choke

Ok, so it one of these we have: http://www.corona-control.se/certificates/BP5500e.pdf The model no is 38-77773-C wich gives us a Size C linear Plug (high capacity single step). It says that the max. allowable pressure drop is 275bar for a air-to-open as well as an air-to-close valve. Is this...

minimum Cv for a masoneilan choke

Thanks Jim! I found some datasheets of the 77000 on internet. It's manually operated (wheel) so I guess there has been some modifications but I think the valve is the one you suggested.

minimum Cv for a masoneilan choke

Good morning folks, I have a choke from Masoneilan (6" x 8"), and I'm asked how low in flow it can be adjusted. The problem is that it's a pretty old choke, and I don't have any datasheet of it. The only thing I got is a model number: 38-7777-3C, angle choke from Masoneilan. Does anyone...

    Closing valve

Sorry about the diffuse question. 1. Yes, i meant liquid. (crude/water) 2. I don't have a valve at the moment. I'm trying to find out what kind of valve that best surves my purpose. 3. The line (1") will normally be ~1 bar, but when it gets pressurised (~5 bar) it should close.

    Closing valve

Hello folks! I have a problem that I though you could help me with. :) I need some kind of device that closes on high pressure. What are the options? The media is fluid, but it will contain some amount of gas.
