Instron/Wilson let me know that the additional weights should weigh 600g each. I've purchased a hardness test block and find that I am in spec on the 15T scale, but need 660g additional (not 600g) to get an acceptable reading on the 30T scale. Any thoughts out there?
We have an old Model 3JS, for which we've lost the 30T and 45T weights. Wilson/Instron can no longer supply, but I see some offered online by 3rd parties. Question: can I fabricate my own weights? I would need the actual weight of the 30KGF and 45KGF weights. I know the instrument could not be...
