My 1944 MFV is powered by a Phoden 6cyl diesel engine. When I go forward, she purrs ok. As soon as I go astern, she just cuts out. I and a reputable engineer have had a look and we could not find a solution. It seems as though there can be a ready answer, she still starts and runs. I am boggled...
