Ok, u havent stated which release u are currently using but i´m using R8 SP4 and there u can choose in the properties for the current view that u want to show 3D Spec, 3D Wireframe and 3D Points.
So if u have your point made and want to show just that one, use hide/show to make all your other...
To add other bodies to a drawing u can use "Front View" command again to select your preferred body.
This can be done from the part/product u made your drawing originally from or from another part/product.
