    We are talking about 10 feet of 1/4 diameter tubing here. According to one of the articles, it takes 18 ft^3 of air at 500 PSI to have an energy of 2.2x10^6 ftlbs. The volume of my "vessel" is 120 x 1/4^2 * pi/4 = 5.89 in^3. 5.89/(18 x 1728) x 2.2x10^6 = 416 ftlbs of energy at 500 PSI...
