Now I try to use *distribution to define the spatial variation(in two directions) of expansion coefficient.
But in ABAQUS, *distribution can only be defined on the nodes or elements. There is thousands of elements in my model. It is tedious to define such huge amount of elements in the model...

I want to define a half cylindrical shell with a symmetric with respect to the central axis. At each point in the shell wall, it has a local orthogonal coordinate system. it has different properties in longitudinal, radial and tangential directions. How can I define this in ABAQUS? Thanks...
