    They are Cadkey 7 files--so maybe several generations before Keycreator. What would I google for? Keep in mind that I'n not an engineer.

    Correct; I don't have Keycreator (how much does that cost?). I figure that I need some sort of utility that I could load on the HD and use from there--my dad doesn't have internet capability.
