    Can I directly get the simulation result without reading .odb?

    Normally, after the analysis is done, Abaqus will publish the simulation's detail as the .odb file output. But I am finding the way to get the value from the analysis directly without having to repeatedly reading the result file. Is this possible? if so how can this be done? thank you!

    where can I find a complete reference for Python script

    thread799-209038 he mentioned "8.5.10 An example of reading field data from an output database" Where exactly is this article being written? I was looking for it in Abaqus analysis User's Manual version 6.8 but was unable to find it. Maybe I am looking in the wrong book.
