if the laptop has a dedicated graphics card can we change it to SW approved grahics card, will the laptop still work fine- 17817

Laptop for solidworks
Did anyone use other than the SW approved cards like NVIDIA GEOFORCE cards and did they have any problems? The reason I am asking as these cards are dedicated 256-512mb should it not be enough memory to run the software.- 17817
