    I thought of a commonality between myself and another guy, but that is different from everyone else. We're both setup for dual boot, XP32 as the C:\ and XP64 as E:\. The programs are all installed on the respective drive. that is, NX4 and VisView are installed on both C: and E:.

    They are all Dell Precision 690 Workstations with Windows XP Pro 64bit. UGNX4 4.0.3.3 patch level. They all point to the server for the environment file.

    but its strange that 10 other people are using the same environment file (located on the server) and they are working correctly.

    they are using different "jobs" but for testing, we did the same the job and parts on 2 different computers. One worked correctly (properties were displayed) and the other one (mine) came up empty. I will see if I can get a screen shot of the two properties windows to exlain a little better.
