What would i use for the reinforcement bars?

C++ has been used to program steel design per lrfd even though its a general purpose programming. I'm just looking for where I could get source code because I would like to make changes if needed.

Does anyone know where i could obtain design examples on frame building load developements. For example if i have a six-story frame and i am analzing it using a "dummy column" to account for the gravity forces during a dynamic analysis.

If the period in the first mode of my six story split level frame is 0.72 seconds. It was analyzed using El Centro Earthquake North-South.
How do i read the spectral acceleration graphs and determine where the locations on the spectral acc. impact the frame the most?

This is just a general question. When doing a non-linear time history analysis, changing the time step drastically changed the results. For instance a time step was used of 0.002 was changed to 0.005 which seem to produce more realistic results.
