Actually both sides are at high flow rate. hot at 150kg/s and cold at 215 (250 is actually incorrect, as mentioned earlier).
Other problem is the temperature gradient between two fluids is very low i.e. around 14 oC .i.e the hot fluid at 46 and cold is 32.

Currently involved in a single phase shell and tube heat exchanger design but extreamly high flow rates. Due to space limitations, the size should be minimum. Only one HX should fulfil the requirements.
Flow rates are about 250 Kg/s.
