If your drawing has layers, make sure the active layer, where new dims, notes, sketch lines, etc. are being added, is set to be visible. I had this frustrating yet simple problem once and sure enough, I made that layer visible and there were all those pesky dims and notes that kept disappearing...

My own machine is not really a bad problem. Maybe one unhandled error every 2-4 days. The drivers for my 3Dlabs Oxygen VX1 are up-to-date. Others in the office are having more frequent problems. I will check their drivers. Thanks! Steve
