    Can a 70/30 CuNi filler rod (GTAW) be use to weld a 90/10 CuNi pipe/tube? Some people say it can, but I want a more trusted opinion. If it can, what are the ideal parameters e.g. voltage, amps, wire size etc. Cheers....

    Hi Stanweld. We have submitted our ASME IX WPS for approval, to use it for welding flange to pipe and handle to manhole cover, and they require a AWS D1.1 on the handle, that's all. Thanks for being so helpful...
